At rest and while moving it is secured by magnet in the head. At casting it moves to the tail, thus, making the cast longer and more accurate. At powerful jerking and twitching the ball breaks free of the magnet and changes its position in the compartment. It changes the center of masses of the lure, as a result, the lure changes the water level and beats up and down.
