Pontoon21 CrackJack 58 is a lure that enjoys well-deserved recognition with anglers. And many even made it lure #1 for the appropriate conditions. This model is in the middle of the set of sizes of CrackJack, which consists of 5 standard sizes. It represents an intermediate model between the classes of ultra-light and light spinning rods. In the central part of Russia you can catch with it perch, pike, zander chub, asp and orfe. In the northern rivers it is used to fish for gryling, taimen, lenoks and other salmonids.

The form and proportions of CrackJack series change from shads of 38 to minnows of 98. CrackJack 58 is an intermediate subtype which in modern literature is called “shiner” after a small fish. Its habitat is North America.

Pontoon21 CrackJack 58 enjoys well-deserved popularity for its ease of use and universality. It works at twitching and jerking, different combinations of these retrieves are also welcome.

At a straight retrieve wobbling motions of the lure remind a natural behavior of fish in a pond. They are called Swimming and represent a number of rotations of the body according to the long axis (rolling) and lateral oscillations (wobbling). The frequency and amplitude of motions change depending on degree of buoyancy and depth of CrackJack 58 modification. At twitching the lure moves form side to side, while Medium Runners and Deep Runners change the horizon if they are jerked badly enough. After a pause the continue “quivering” for some time, which makes its action even more attractive. Every modification has something original in it.

All the representatives of CrackJack series fly quite well. MFB system (Magnetic Force Balance) ensures a long and accurate cast, also it stabilizes the lure during its presentations, and stops it from floundering if the retrieve or the stream is very fast. The system consists of two balls – movable and non-movable. In the head of the lure there’s a heavy tungsten ball. Its size varies depending on the degree of the buoyancy of the lure. A floating one has a lower one and a suspend has a higher one. The second movable boy is changing its position in the “belly” of the lure behind the anchor nut. At rest and while moving it is secured by magnet in the head. At casting it moves to the tail, thus, making the cast longer and more accurate. At powerful jerking and twitching the ball breaks free of the magnet and changes its position in the compartment. It changes the center of masses of the lure, as a result, the lure changes the water level and beats up and down.

Great variety of colors and unusual action attract fish, and reliable Owner hooks don’t give them a chance to run away.
